🚀 Privacy Policy for DevSEO Chrome Extension

DevSEO is committed to complete transparency and user privacy. This policy explains our data practices.

1. Zero Data Collection

DevSEO does not collect, track, store, or transmit any user data, personal information, browsing history, or website content. Everything runs 100% locally on your machine.

2. Local Execution

All DOM parsing, heading hierarchy checks, Schema JSON-LD analysis, and keyword density calculations take place entirely within your browser's sandboxed environment.

3. Permissions Justification

• activeTab: Inspects only the active page when you click the extension.
• scripting: Injects in-page visual badges (headings, missing alt overlays) when toggled.
• storage: Remembers your Dark/Light theme preference locally.
• contextMenus: Provides the right-click "Inspect SEO with DevSEO" menu item.

4. Third-Party Services

No third-party trackers, analytics (e.g. Google Analytics), or advertisements are included in the extension.
